Customers highlight the product for its correct dimensions, practicality, and quality. It's ideal for several uses such as in ladder bar setup, custom 3/8" plate steering arms, and welding projects. It promises a stable mounting hole for fabricating various mounts like Panhard bars and shock mounts. While the product is too thick for certain uses and may require alterations, clients appreciate its versatile usage, affordability, and quality. It is recommended for strong anchoring points but may not fit all tie rod ends. The product's value is underlined by its usability in manufacturing savings.

Great price, great quality
These will not fit ford steering tie rod ends as the diameters are just a bit too small but for a shock eye they would be great! Or if you have access to a lathe you can set the taper and turn them till you get them to the correct size for steering tie rods then weld them to your steering arms. Was able to turn these eyes and weld them on speedways flat plate steering arms thus saving 70$ plus dollars on a reamer....

not so hot
wanted to use as a welding bung to allow use of tapered Ford tie rod ends to plain straight holes-- but unit is too thick to get nut on tie rod--must grind a lot (over 1/8") from small diameter side to allow tapered stud's nut to tighten far enough to allow use of cotter pin

I have Speedways 7 degree taper reamer but I always keep these in stock just in case. They work great for shock mounts but also for fabricating Panhard bars mounts and hairpin radius rod mounts giving you a thick, stable mounting hole without having to use heavy, bulky plate for the mounts.
